how to become a member

First and foremost, we are so glad that you are here. It is our mission to honor God and see to it that all feel welcome at SOH and we truly hope that was your experience. Whether you are here with us occasionally or have been coming pretty consistently, we find your interest in possibly becoming a member of Sound of Heaven an honor and a privilege. We would like to cover two items in this letter. What is there to do once you become a member and what are the requirements for membership.

What is a Member?

An SOH Member is someone who wants to further develop in their Christian walk beyond Sunday service and get behind the vision at Sound of Heaven. If you feel led to be a part of what God is doing…then go ahead and continue reading 🙂

Our desire is for you to get involved…

There is a lot of opportunity at Sound of Heaven to get your hands dirty in changing the lives of people, just like Jesus did for you. Whether you want to help serve in the church or be hands on in ministering, there is a place for you. There is always something to do, here is a current list of things you can get involved with:

What are the steps for Membership?

1) Connect Night

The best way to discover whether you want to be a member is to attend one of our monthly Connect nights. Connect is a night that is open to anyone wanting to learn more about the vision at SOH. Even if you don’t intend on membership but are simply curious, join us!

Once a month on a Friday night, SOH Leadership shares how Sound of Heaven came to exist, our core beliefs, the mission, and the vision for the future. You will also hear testimonies from current members and be able to ask questions.

2) Foundations Program

Our 12 week, One to One Foundations program is a great opportunity to learn more about the foundational principles of Christianity and the core beliefs of Sound of Heaven. You will be partnered with one of our Core Members and embarking on a 12-week study.

The only cost to you is a commitment of time and consistency. Like mentioned above, you will meet with a CORE member every week on the same day and time for 12 weeks. You will need to be consistent with that schedule while attending Sunday services. If you can make this commitment, it will change your life. The testimonies from this program have been amazing!
