Jason Koch D’Ambrosio grew up in Deer Park, NY. Raised in a Catholic household, his grandfather and grandmother made sure that Jay was sitting in a pew every Sunday. From an early age, Jay witnessed his grandfather, who he affectionately called “Pops”, selflessly devote his time to the church. Despite some difficult situations, it was here that Jason developed a foundation of understanding that God was real.  He would hit some doubts in his 20’s, but always had a sense of a “higher power”.

After his grandfather went home to be with God, Jason was pursuing a sales career in Atlanta, GA. Despite success, he could not seem to find happiness.  At 25, Jay met some people who had something that he did not. They had peace. It was the one thing that no matter how hard he worked, kept escaping him.

When Jason discovered that the source of their peace was a relationship with God through Jesus Christ, it all made sense. Jay turned his life over to God and immediately experienced the miracles that take place through faith. Although some changes were difficult, he set out to live a life that was devoted to making a difference. That included sharing the gospel, praying for the sick, and serving the community.

In 2008, he married his wife Christina. In 2009, He and Christina served in worship ministry and Jason was ordained as a Pastor at the Garden in Smyrna, GA. The Garden is the headquarters for 7 Bridges to Recovery, an Atlanta based outreach ministry dedicated to breaking the cycle of homelessness, bondage, and all forms of addiction through street evangelism.

As their family grew, Jason and Christina felt the pull from God to return to New York and continue serving. In 2012, Jason met a group of individuals committed to changing Long Island for Jesus Christ. That November he was ordained as the Evangelist of Sound of Heaven. Today, they continue to serve and commit to helping the Long Island community.  Jason is a leader at Sound of Heaven, owns a successful web design and marketing company and is the President of the Deer Park Chamber of Commerce.
